The Enterprise Initiative hosted "Survey Design and Measurement in Development Economics", a conference held at the World Bank in Washington D.C. on December 10-11, 2009. This event aimed to create a systematic body of knowledge pertaining to measurement and survey design, particularly as it relates to enterprise and development economics. "Innovations in Development Theory & Survey Data: Implications for Policy", a conference hosted by the University of the Thai Chamber of Commerce and the Enterprise Initiative, was held in Bangkok, Thailand from August 4-6, 2008. The Enterprise Initiative held a lunch series focusing on current research in the area of development economics. "Eats & Economics" was held biweekly throughout 2009, and highlighted enterprise-focused research by both professors and students.
